We can proudly announce: We have done it again! We have invested in a better future. As you know, this is our motto: We invest to make the world a better place. No sooner said than done! The latest start-up in which we have invested with conviction is Complori.
The idea behind Complori is to introduce children and young people to programming in a fun and age-appropriate way. And this idea is, in short, GENIUS. As we know, children and young people in particular have a keen interest in screens and everything behind them, often to the chagrin of their parents. Some like to be entertained or inform themselves by surfing the Internet. Others prefer to interact by immersing themselves in the world of online gaming. The young generation's enthusiasm for screens is undeniable. So why not use it productively and at the same time take an important step towards equal opportunities in Europe? That's what the founders of Complori thought.
The three founders came up with the idea behind Complori during the first coronavirus lockdown. Instead of sinking into boredom and fear of the future at home, the founders focused on a particularly relevant topic during the lockdown: the excessive demands placed on schools by the sudden digitalization of teaching. Furthermore, co-founder and CEO Amanda was one of the few women in business informatics, which raises the question of equal opportunities. With this food for thought and more in her luggage, the journey of the development and launch of Complori began. And now we can be part of this journey too!
The aim of Complori is to make computer science accessible to children regardless of their background, social status and gender and to use the digital fascination to impart useful knowledge and further their education. Sounds fabulous, doesn't it?
